Privacy Policy

Privacy at StreamSaver

StreamSaver is built to help you discover where to watch titles and manage your streaming setup. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your options.

What we collect

We may collect account details (such as email, display name, and phone if you provide it), watchlist data, saved provider preferences, and notification preferences.

Usage and analytics data

We collect product events to improve StreamSaver, including discovery interactions, search observability, personalization outcome signals, and watchlist alert activity. We do not intentionally store raw search query text in observability events where coarse metadata is sufficient.

Cookies and local storage

StreamSaver uses local storage and related browser storage to keep basic preferences, such as selected streaming services and watchlist state for unauthenticated sessions.

Notifications and email

If you enable notifications, we may use your settings and watchlist signals to deliver in-app or email alerts. Email delivery is handled through third-party delivery infrastructure.

Third-party services

StreamSaver uses third-party providers, including Supabase (auth/database), Hostinger (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Watchmode and related API data providers (title and availability data), and Sentry (error monitoring). Stripe may be used in the future for payments when premium billing is launched.

Data requests and support

For privacy questions, update requests, or deletion requests, contact us at support@streamsaver.ai. We will review requests in a reasonable timeframe.

Security note

We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Streaming availability, pricing, and provider information may change without notice and may vary by region/provider.
